Hello Camp Bisco: join us in welcoming Wellness programming back to our festival for another year! Once again, the Wellness activities will include a 5K with Marc Brownstein, morning yoga with Desert Dwellers & Deb Brownstein, and stretching sessions with Lisa Shanken of Tri-Wellness. The 3rd annual Camp Bisco 5K will take place on Friday, July 13, just after 11:30am, and promises to be the best one yet. Register here while there are still spots available.

We will once again use our all-downhill, paved course — some runners have set their personal best times on this course! Scranton Running is back to help us this year, and they’re bringing back GPS enabled runner’s bibs and a finish line. We are adding a GPS starting line this year, too. Water, distance & directional signage, finish line photos, bus transportation back to the starting line area and custom medals for all runners are going to make this the best Camp Bisco 5K ever.

Desert Dwellers & Deb Brownstein are bringing their yoga sets back to the Above the Waves stage — Friday & Saturday from 10:30-11:30am. Join us there! Please bring a mat if you can, but we’ll have a few you can borrow if you forget. Please remember to bring a healthy, refreshing drink — it can get warm out there, even in the morning! We are so thrilled to be able to offer yoga with legit musicians you love, and a great teacher, at Camp Bisco.

Lisa Shanken from Tri-Wellness rounds out our Wellness offerings with her stretching sessions and wellness tips geared toward staying loose and enjoying Camp Bisco at your best. Look for Lisa & her team every day at Electric City (main stage): she’ll be offering mini-classes prior to each set until 7pm. The class will meet near the HeadCount booth in the walkway just outside of the amphitheater tent — look for Lisa’s sign and listen for her megaphone! Lisa’s sessions start 15 minutes before the music, and take 10 minutes, so you’ll still have some time to get settled into your favorite spot after your stretch! Thursday at 3:15pm, 4pm & 5:45pm. Friday at 2:15pm, 4:00pm & 5:45pm. Saturday at 3:15pm, 4:45pm and 6:45pm.
